Tomas Perkins, who is in Year 7 at Oswestry School, organised the competition for his form and asked competitors to donate £1.50 to play.
The total amount raised came to £62.40 which was to be split between the Midlands Air Ambulance and the Charlotte Hartey Foundation.
Tomas, who is from Ellesmere, made his own posters at home which he displayed around Lower and Middle School at Oswestry.
“I got the idea after a form hockey match was held at the beginning of the year which went very well,” said Thomas.
“I had a lot of help from the sports teachers and I am extremely grateful to them for all they did on the day.
“It was a lovely day and I think everyone really enjoyed it. It’s also nice to be able to raise money for two fantastic charities.”
