Tamsin Symons (Violin) and Christopher Symons (Piano) PHC 7.30pm
Performances by this family duo (who have appeared before in the Series) are notable for the remarkable warmth and ensemble in their playing, and their obvious enjoyment in the music. Tamsin plays with the Orchestra of Opera North which tours widely and performs regularly as a concert symphony orchestra. Her father Christopher is the Director of this Series. He has an increasingly wide involvement in musical activities of many kinds, as pianist, organist and accompanist.
Their varied programme will include the exciting and dramatic Praeludium und Allegro by Fritz Kreisler and Brahms' haunting D minor Sonata (Opus108).
